This book covers the multidisciplinary nature of environment, public
awareness case studies related to environment, current issues environment
and natural changes. The book includes disaster management, mitigation and
application of Remote Sensing and GIS for disaster management and
environmental changes. It also consists of drawing a long-term policy to
overcome the problems of environmental pollution and disaster management.
The other important environmental issues that are highlighted are
environmental impact assessment studies, environmental health hazards and
ecological consequences in relation to the inter-linking of rivers in India.
